FCS (Division I-AA) Top 10 after week 5

With James Madison and Villanova losing, the FCS rankings change quite a bit. I didn't post week 4 and am switching to just a top ten.

Jacksonville State once again ascends to the top spot, which they won in week one after beating Mississippi. They haven't lost since. In strictly FCS play, though, #2 Delaware might be the best performing team, having knocked off both Richmond and last week's #1 James Madison.

Massachusetts, who previously beat #4 William and Mary and narrowly lost to undefeated Michigan, takes the #3 spot. William and Mary knocked off #3 Villanova last weekend.

James Madison and Villanova fall to #7 and #8 respectively, while Appalachian State and Stephen F. Austin move up to #5 and #6. Northern Arizona and Texas State hold down the #9 and #10 spots.
