Donald Brown broke the 2,000 yard mark for the season, rushing for a career best 261 yards as Connecticut came back to beat Buffalo 38-20.
Brown, who wasn't even a finalist for the Doak Walker award, had 208 yards in the first half alone. After the game, like Walker winner Shonn Greene of Iowa, Brown announced he was headed to the NFL, forgoing his senior year.
Despite Brown's output the Bulls had a 20-10 lead in the 2nd quarter due mostly to the Huskies committing three consecutive turnovers on fumbles. But UConn rallied, and Tyler Lorenzen had two touchdown runs and passed for another as the Huskies scored 28 straight points to beat the MAC champions.
