I've updated the yardage stats on their respective pages. The highlights:

Tulsa and Louisville continue to rack up the yards if not the wins. Oregon slips a few notches without playing, as their competition adjusts itself they lose 40 yards of average offense. New Mexico State, which made the top ten last week, dropped to #20 after posting -19 rushing yards and 108 passing yards against Boise State. Notre Dame, despite beating UCLA, gained less than 100 yards rushing and under 50 yards passing and still ranks dead last in Division I-AA in yardage output.

10. Washington (2-3) 429.9 [ 38] 227.7 [ 10] 202.1 [ 79]
There's also a 1-2 switch in the rushing list, as Arkansas takes over from pass-averse Navy. The Razorbacks claim two of the top eight rushers in the country, Darren McFadden of course at #3, and Felix Jones at #8.
There was also a change at the top of the overall defense list:
Total Defense Yardage Averages (corrected for schedule):
Rank Team Rec Total (rank) Rush (rank) Pass (rank)
1. Ohio State (6-0) 193.7 [ 1] 35.3 [ 1] 158.3 [ 6]
2. Boise St (4-1) 218.3 [ 2] 42.3 [ 3] 176.0 [ 12]
3. Southern Cal (4-1) 228.3 [ 3] 76.9 [ 10] 151.3 [ 4]

9. Colorado (4-2) 284.5 [ 9] 109.6 [ 25] 174.9 [ 10]
10. West Virginia (5-1) 288.1 [ 10] 110.3 [ 26] 177.7 [ 18]
Ohio State's near-shutout of Purdue put them on top of the yardage defense list. Boise State vaults into #2 for holding former offensive-top-10 New Mexico State to less than 100 overall yards. And Southern Cal moves up slightly for losing at home to Stanford! The Trojans, you see, held Stanford to well below their offensive averages in yardage, but that doesn't necessarily prevent 4th-and-20 conversions or last minute touchdowns. Louisville, #2 in total offense, ranks last in total defense.
Passing Defense Yardage Averages (corrected for schedule):

10. Colorado (4-2) 284.5 [ 9] 109.6 [ 25] 174.9 [ 10]
North Carolina State dubiously takes the #1 spot for being so easy to run against (check out the #119 rank). Notre Dame moves up to #2 in their best category by far.

BYU is still number one as they didn't play last week; we'll see if they can hold this spot. Boise State's snuffing of New Mexico State made their defense look great, but if NM State is in the process of correcting a statistical fluke, they might not maintain their position either. Ohio State is interesting too, #1 in defense but only #83 in offense. So far the 'D' has been enough to win games, and there might not be an offense in the Big Ten that can challenge them; but can they win a BCS bowl without a strong offense?
