In six games this year, Miami's offense has played well in two, their defense well in four, and neither played well in the remaining two.
The Good: Miami 35, Marshall 3: Marshall's not too good but the Canes played a solid game.
Miami 34, Texas A&M 17: Miami took control and led 24-0 against a decent Aggie team.
The Bad: Miami 23, Florida International 9: FIU is really bad and Miami still couldn't dominate.
Miami 24, Duke 14: Likewise, Duke is not a good team, and the Canes barely held on.
The Ugly: Oklahoma 51, Miami 13: The offense couldn't produce and the defense broke.
North Carolina 33, Miami 27: Down 27-0 in first half against the Tar Heels is ugly.
Looking at their results, it's clear that Miami can play very well at home, but they're incompetent on the road, where both of their losses took place. A much bigger home field advantage should be assigned for the Hurricanes' road opponents.
