Auburn lost to Florida at home, but the Tigers should remain the #1 team.
No team has done anything close to what Auburn has done this year in terms of big wins, and having a 2nd loss doesn't change that.
With Duke losing, there's no reason to put anyone else ahead of the Tigers.
It sounds like people are talking about putting Alabama at #1, Tennessee at #2, Auburn at #3? Pretty silly. Look at the résumés and tell me either of those teams comes close to Auburn.
The NET statistics tell the story: Auburn has 12 Quad 1 wins. Duke 5, Alabama 6, Tennessee 7.
Alabama and Tennessee have more losses, too. Tennessee lost by 30 points, and to Vanderbilt, and to Auburn. How can they possibly be ahead of Auburn?
The AP voters should keep things steady with Auburn at #1.
