- Illinois State (MVC #7) Last year: 24-10 (#81) TPP Back: 49.3% Recruiting: #95
Analysis: Last year's team is a thing of the past with three key players gone, though Osiris Eldridge (12.4 TPP/G) is back and recruiting is good enough to keep the Redbirds winning. - Georgia State (Colonial #8) Last year: 12-20 (#232) TPP Back: 68.0% Recruiting: #79
Analysis: Georgia State should be a much improved team due to the return of Joe Dukes (11.9 TPP/G), most of the reserves, and blue chip recruit Rashanti Harris (C 6-9 230), who joins the team in December. - Campbell (Atl Sun #3) Last year: 14-16 (#243) TPP Back: 86.6% Recruiting: #326
Analysis: Campbell won't improve enough to win the Atlantic Sun but they may come close, as they return all five starters including star Jonathan Rodriguez (15.6 ppg, 8.3 rebounds). - Southern Illinois (MVC #8) Last year: 13-18 (#147) TPP Back: 49.6% Recruiting: #138
Analysis: The Salukis go from bad to worse losing half their production. But top player Kevin Dillard is back and Iowa transfer Tony Freeman gains eligibility, which should prevent too big a fall. - Boise State (WAC #9) Last year: 19-13 (#137) TPP Back: 66.8% Recruiting: #161
Analysis: Four starters return for the Broncos but top scorer and rebounder Mark Sanchez (14.2 TPP/G) departs, leaving a big hole in production. The rest of the WAC could leave them behind. - Tex. San Antonio (Southland #3) Last year: 19-13 (#159) TPP Back: 73.5% Recruiting: #195
Analysis: Two starters are gone: Joey Shank, who was only 7th most productive player, and Travis Gabbidon, who was #1. The five in-between are back and could improve the team's standing in the Southland. - Cal St. Fullerton (Big West #3) Last year: 15-17 (#216) TPP Back: 62.9% Recruiting: #91
Analysis: Fullerton State loses huge scorer Josh Akognon (23.9 ppg) but returns four other starters and could improve with two transfers and a couple of decent recruits. - Mid. Tennessee St. (Sun Belt #5) Last year: 18-14 (#152) TPP Back: 49.3% Recruiting: #66
